It’s not like hiring a hotel or a formal venue – here you can plan your own wedding and decide how you’d like your party to look and feel.

Make It Romantic, Make It Grand, Make It Fun, Make It Unique

Our meadow is the perfect spot for a marquee to host whatever kind of reception you want to have. Choose to be relaxed and original: think tipis and strawbales, lanterns and bunting, or go for something more traditional and formal: gold chairs and swags, silver and crystal. It’s completely up to you! The catering too can be whatever you decide, from fine dining to a hog roast or tapas.

Time To Relax

You will have exclusive use while you’re at Barsham and the freedom to create a wonderful occasion that you’ll remember forever. We let you take your time to have everything just as you want it. Arrive on Friday to settle in, have all your family and friends around you while you get ready for the big day.

Precious Time With Family And Friends

Share your special day with up to 80 guests and be able to offer up to 50 of them 3 days of 5 Star luxury accommodation. We don’t have a licence but there are a number of gorgeous wedding venues within a few miles drive: grand and glorious Holkham Hall or the more intimate Bayfield Hall with its romantic lakeside setting and ruined church.

All The Extras

We have local caterers, florists, photographers, make up artists and a wedding planner that we use on a regular basis and can recommend but you are also free to use your own choice if you wish.

Our Wedding Months

Our main wedding months are April, May, June and September when most of our guests come for a long weekend. But winter weddings can also be a romantic option. Light the drive with torches, hire a tipi with a stove and have a cosy intimate meal by candlelight. Mid-week is also an option when prices are less than at weekends.
