The Great East Barn in North Barsham is the largest of 5 historic farm buildings to have been restored by an architect and his wife and is now a luxurious Norfolk holiday cottage for 14 people.

The Great East Barn used to be the massive 19th century granary and sits in a tranquil river valley facing south and east towards an unbridged ford and the gentle rise to Barsham Hill. This Norfolk holiday cottage has lots of space and was designed for open plan living. It's perfect for a large group of friends or family.

Imagine yourself in the luxurious comfort of the first floor sitting room with the traditional, rustic clunch walls behind you, surrounded by crisp modern furnishings and gazing across calm green fields and grazing sheep. This huge open plan space extends past a central island kitchen to a large airy glazed dining room with more fabulous views down the valley.

4 Bathrooms, 3 Showers, 1 Separate WC. 3 bedrooms have ensuite shower with hand basin and WC 4 bedrooms have ensuite bath with handheld shower, basin and WC.

Kitchen:

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped for entertaining, open to the dining room so friends can chat while preparing meals. Great for families or adult groups wanting generous space for a dinner party.

General:

Real Fire, Central Heating, Free Wireless Internet, House Linen. In summer you can open the doors to the courtyard, letting in the sun and enjoying the fantastic views. In winter the underfloor heating and woodburner keep the barn really cosy and warm.

Dining:

The dining room has a fantastic modern oak dining table with seating for 14 with a separate small breakfast table for 4. When booked with another barn the table may be extended to seat 22. Stunning views down the valley to the meadows beyond.

Entertainment:

Terrestrial TV, DVD player, Radio, CD System, Freeview, Table Tennis. Book a session for exclusive access to the spa pool . Also available are two games rooms, one with table tennis, one with table football.

Outside:

Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The terrace faces southeast and has a built-in table with seating for 14. Up two steps to lawned area with herbaceous border. Gate a large lawned area with mown grass and wild flower meadow.
