Long Meadow at North Barsham is one of 5 historic farm buildings, restored by an architect and his wife and now a luxurious Norfolk self-catering cottage for 8 people.

Long Meadow was most recently the milking parlour and, dating from 1715, is the oldest property on the farm.

The barn is a great place to relax with friends and family. It has a large oak-beamed sitting room with views across the courtyard garden to the lovely Stiffkey valley beyond. There’s also a generously sized dining room with a huge window looking onto the terrace – the perfect spot for al fresco meals.

This self-catering cottage has an elegant but relaxed French country feel and its clunch walls, a local chalk building material, give it a unique character.

Bedrooms (sleeps up to 8):

3 Double Bedrooms, 1 Twin Bedroom comprising of:

• Double bed with antique French headboard
• Double bedroom with cast iron bed
• 6’ king (can be made into 2 twins)
• Children’s bedroom with bunk beds (3’)

Bathrooms:

1 Bathroom, 2 Showers, 1 Separate WC. Two bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms. Two bedrooms have ensuite doors to shared bathroom.

Kitchen:

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The galley kitchen is very well equipped and if open to the dining room/sitting room so you can chat while preparing meals.

General:

Real Fire, Central Heating, Free Wireless Internet, House Linen. In summer you can open the doors to the courtyard, letting in the sun and enjoying the fantastic views. In winter the underfloor heating and woodburner keep the barn really cosy and warm.

Dining:

Seating for 8. The dining room has an elegant oval wooden gateleg table seating eight, with antique crystal chandelier and gilt mirror.

Entertainment:

Terrestrial TV, Freeview, DVD, Radio, CD System, Table Tennis. Book a session for exclusive access to the spa pool . Also available are two games rooms, one with table tennis, one with table football.

Outside:

Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Long Meadow has a south facing courtyard garden with a sunken Mediterranean bed filled with lavender, box and olive trees. There is a large terrace with a table seating eight.

This barn maybe booked for any number of nights from 3 min. - call to check dates and prices.
Friday start day for all 7 night bookings.  Prices above held until 31 October 2012.
