Hall Barn is a Norfolk holiday cottage for 8 people set in the grounds of Quaker’s Hall, Haveringland, a Grade II listed farmhouse dating from around 1700.
Hall Barn and the second holiday cottage here, Quaker Barn (sleeps 6), are in a tranquil rural setting close to the Norfolk Coast and Broads. The award-winning barn conversions enclose an ornamental herb garden and potager and have everything you need for a holiday with friends or family.
Formerly an open-bay cart shed, Hall Barn has been beautifully designed and renovated by an architect and his wife. The ground floor has a huge open plan space with kitchen, dining area and double-height seating area. This has an inglenook fireplace and window seat with glazed windows and sliding doors to access your private, south facing, garden and terrace. The garden opens onto undulating farmland and has lovely views of the woodland and water meadows.
Above this seating area is an aerial walkway and gallery connecting the two first floor bedrooms. There are a further two double bedrooms on the ground floor. The barn has up-to-the-minute straw bale insulation so is cool in summer and very cosy in winter.
